Malekula is one of the cultural heartlands of Vanuatu, home to some of the most ancient living traditions in the Pacific. On this immersive half-day tour, you'll visit a traditional kastom village where the old ways are still practised daily.
Witness ceremonial dances, learn about ancestral customs and taboos, watch master craftsmen at work, and hear the stories that have been passed down through generations. You'll also see the famous Vanuatu sand drawings — a UNESCO-recognised art form unique to this region.
Year-round. Tours typically run mornings (8 AM departure).
Please follow your guide's instructions about cultural protocols. Some areas may be sacred and photography restricted.
